Dear friends and supporters of ENGAGE International,

As most of you are aware on Saturday the 25th of April Nepal was stuck with a deadly earthquake registering 7.9 on the Richter scale causing widespread damage and thousands of deaths. This major earthquake was followed by over 50 aftershocks some of which were strong earthquakes in their own right. At present the situation is Nepal is still very serious with the counties infrastructure affected and a scarcity of food and water for the people. Our board is currently considering the best course of action to help those suffering. The good news is that none of our family and church planting staff have been affected. We praise God that  everyone is safe.

Please pray that:
– Our board will be led by God in the best way to provide support for those suffering.
– The people of Nepal will get all the assistance they need to rebuild the country.
– The Christian church will serve as lights in this dark time for Nepal.
– Our up in coming Training week in May will still go ahead and that our teachers will be safe in their travel to and from the country as well as during their trip.
– Long-term support will be given to Nepal not just a short burst of concern.
– Our church planters and their families will stay safe.

Kind Regards

Aust Mission Co-ordinator
